The ‘No Noise’ house is a lot like hers. The inspiration for the illustrations came when looking for a wayward black chook called Omlet in the dark with a torch in her pyjamas! Christina’s books In the Deep Blue Sea and In the Deep Green Jungle and Purinina were notable books in the CBCA awards in 2008.
